SnapCab interlocking panels stack one on top of the other, making them a snap to install (no clips) and even easier to replace in the future. SnapCabs will give your elevators a high quality look at a modest price. This paneling is truly superior by design.


Panel Core
  • 3/4-inch thick
  • class "A" fire rating (details)
  • Panels mount directly to cab walls, minimizing loss of interior space
  • Panels are removable for repair or replacement

Toe Kick
  • 4-inches tall (other heights available)
  • stainless steel, bronze, or black plastic
  • accomodates existing vents

Reveals
  • fill the spaces between the panels at the cab corners and above the panels
  • made of satin stainless steel or black plastic
  • applied to the cab shell prior to installing the wall panels

Handrails
  • pre-installed
  • returned ends
  • mount on the rear wall and/or side wall panels typically at a height of 32" from the floor

Pad Hooks
  • pre-installed
  • used to hang protective elevator pads on cab walls

Frame Ceiling

  • lightweight and energy efficient
  • re-use existing fluorescent fixtures
  • heavy-duty brushed aluminum ceiling frame is made of 1/8-inch thick extruded "T" aluminum measuring 1 1/2-inch x 1 1/2-inch
  • typically divided into six sections, each section containing either a translucent light-diffusing panel (made of fire-resistant twinwall polycarbonate), or a fire-resistant aluminum eggcrate type diffuser
  • incorporates access to the canopy exit hatch
  • typically hangs down from the cab canopy seven inches, and has a 1 1/4-inch air space around the perimeter of the ceiling
  • economy frame ceiling also available - divided into three sections

(Lights not included, customer typically re-uses existing lights. Fluorescent light kit is available if needed)


Modular Downlight Ceiling

  • heavy-duty brushed aluminum frame
  • gloss black plastic laminate ceiling panels, or for an additional cost, panels are also available in brushed aluminum with the look of stainless steel, satin bronze tone aluminum, or your choice of a plastic laminate color
  • low-voltage halogen lighting

Downlight Ceiling

  • high-end quality ceiling
  • made of fire-rated plywood
  • laminated with standard plastic laminate or 18-gauge stainless steel (mirror or satin finish)
  • typically divided into six panels, each panel containing a low-voltage halogen down light fixture
  • halogen down lights come with a dimmer switch, to be attached to the transformer mounted on the cab top
  • section of this ceiling is removable, giving access to the ceiling exit hatch
  • typicaly hangs down from the cab canopy 7-inches, and has a 1 1/4-inch air space around the perimeter of the ceiling
